Trilla commits to investments in eco-efficiency and sustainability

April 10, 2024

Trilla Induplast Ibérica is committed to protecting nature and conserving natural resources. For this reason, the company’s new investments focus on incorporating more efficient machines that reduce the environmental impact of its activity. These new units are equipped with safety systems that minimize risks for operators, reinforcing the company’s dedication to workplace safety.

All improvements also increase the potential for reuse and recycling in the manufacturing process. Ultimately, Trilla Induplast Ibérica continues to promote eco-efficiency across all areas of its operations.

This commitment begins with the acquisition of two new 650-ton machines, operational from April 2024. These next-generation units enhance production and reduce electricity consumption, resulting in products manufactured with high performance and a significantly lower energy footprint.

In addition, the company continues to prioritize material reuse, transforming them into new items ready for use. To support this, a new 75 HP grinder has been incorporated. It features a 950 × 700 cutting chamber and includes transport and bagging systems, which will considerably increase grinding capacity and shorten raw-material recycling processes.

All of this is complemented by the use of renewable energy, thanks to the recent installation of photovoltaic panels. This reinforces Trilla Induplast Ibérica’s environmental commitment by combining plastic transformation with sustainable production processes, helping protect the planet.
